The health care industry plays an extensive role in Tennessee’s economy contributing over $30 billion annually to the Middle Tennessee region. In Williamson County, health care accounts for 10 percent of total jobs and accounts for half of the county’s top 20 employers. The health care industry is helping drive major economic growth as some of the biggest names in health care have planted roots here.
