The conference will feature leading life science executives, thought leaders and legislative supporters of the industry in two full days of keynote speakers, industry subsector breakout panels and a pitch competition for promising early-stage Tennessee life science companies.
Join us as we welcome nearly 200 leading bioscience and med-tech executives, thought leaders and policy makers from across the state and nation in conversations about how Tennessee innovations are feeding, healing and fueling the world.
Life Science Tennessee plans a robust schedule of top conference speakers, panels and showcases:
– state and federal legislation and initiatives that affect the industry,
– hot industry topics including regulatory and reimbursement,
– industry networking for young companies,
– sessions showcasing the industry and highlighting some of the newest companies, transactions and news,
– a poster session by our Academic Alliance, and
– a Venture Forum with a live pitch competition to venture capital companies.
During this year’s conference, we’ll mark the third annual Life Science Tennessee Venture Forum. This one-of-a-kind pitch competition for emerging Tennessee life science companies is specifically designed to offer exposure, networking and valuable feedback to companies across life science industry sectors.
Participating companies will pitch to life science investors and participate in a mentor program. The companies will also compete to win $5,000 cash courtesy of Waller.
Graduate students and researchers from across Tennessee’s academic institutions are invited to submit applications to the Life Science Tennessee Poster Session held in conjunction with the Life Science Tennessee Annual Conference and Venture Forum. The poster session serves to highlight the broad capabilities and research of the life science industry in Tennessee. Click here to download poster session information.
