Unleashing the Power of Open Health Data
A Conversation with Dwayne Spradlin, Chief Executive Officer, Health Data Consortium
Dwayne Spradlin is the chief executive officer of the Health Data Consortium, a collaboration among government, non-profit and private sector organizations working to foster the availability and innovative use of data to improve health and health care. The Consortium advocates with data sources to promote best practices and information sharing and is now the organizer for the annual DataPalooza in Washington DC.
Mr. Spradlin will provide Council and EC guests with an overview of the work of the HDC and DataPalooza. He will also discuss the opportunity for Tennessee to become a regional affiliate of the HDC working to promote the ideals of open data in health around the country.
