Katie Schlacter is the senior director of communications and content strategy for the Nashville Health Care Council. Schlacter, who previously served as director of communications, joined the Council team in 2012.
In her role as senior director, she leads all communications activities on behalf of the Council and its initiatives, while playing a strategic role in directing content for the organization’s extensive member events and offerings.
With 15 years of health care communications experience, Schlacter brings significant understanding of the complex challenges facing health care organizations and the needs for collaborative and innovative leadership.
Prior to joining the Council, Schlacter was a senior account executive with MP&F Public Relations, overseeing teams and providing counsel to clients in the health care, government, retail and nonprofit sectors.
A Nashville native, Schlacter graduated from Vanderbilt University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and minors in French and political science.
