Mark Richard is the director of accounting for the Nashville Health Care Council. He is responsible for overseeing general accounting and financial reporting services for the organization and for providing financial insights to the team that leads to proactive decision making.
Prior to working with the Council, he served as director of accounting with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Mark worked closely with affiliate organizations, providing day-to-day accounting support. He also had responsibilities in the Chamber’s payroll and HR functions.
Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, from Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky., and a master’s degree in theology from The School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. He serves as a deacon in the Diocese of Kentucky.
