Educational Programming & Talent Development Program Manager, Nashville Health Care Council

A position on the Educational Programming & Talent Development team, the program manager is responsible for the comprehensive development, coordination, and delivery of dynamic professional learning and development cohort-based programs at the Nashville Health Care Council. This role works collaboratively with the Council team to ensure both internal team and external stakeholders are aligned. The manager’s role is a visible role within the Council and community and will be a part of building and maintaining strong relationships with Council members, stakeholders and investors.

Programming

  • Through collaboration with the Senior Director and key stakeholders, implement comprehensive learning and development cohort-based programming that aligns with the Council’s goals and objectives and supports professional development and continuous learning across leaderships levels within member companies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a robust knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry that will ensure alignment of Council educational and learning development offerings with market needs.

Leadership

  • Ensure programming offerings is consistent with key Council messaging.
  • Operational support of the Council Fellows Advisory Board, Council Content Development committee, and Council cohort-based programming alignment to the Council’s overall strategic agenda.
  • Present Council cohort-based programming opportunities to companies and external stakeholders as needed.

Budget Management

  • Working with Senior Director and the finance team, the Manager ensures that the programs meet budget requirements and revenue goals for the Council.

 Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Manage cohort-based program inquiries and participation and track number towards year end goals.
  • Work with Education and Talent Development Team on recruiting cohort-based program candidates from current and new Council member companies.
  • Engage cohort-based program Alumni into Council programs and events.
  • Serve as a general Council cohort-based programming point of contact for sharing ideas, general inquiries or voices of concern.
  • Disseminate updates to Council leadership on relevant information from members and candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Council members and stakeholders. Communicate effectively with members, potential new members, guests and the public utilizing discretion and professionalism.

Coordination

  • Works closely with the Member Engagement Team and Brand & Operations Team on programming. Serve as a liaison between committees/advisory board, stakeholders, and Council staff.
  • Cohort-Based Programs Communication: 1) Works closely with the Brand & Operations team to ensure communications align with organizational messages and timing. 2) Updates program participants and candidates on activities and engagement opportunities. 3) Assists with Council programming postings as needed.
  • Coordinates Council Content Development Committee (quarterly).
  • Helps coordinates the activities of Council programming.
  • Utilizes Council database to enhance cohort-based program offerings and service.
  • Record contact activity with members through the Council’s membership database.
  • Serves as an ambassador for the Nashville Health Care industry.
  • Support other Council activities as needed.
  • Support Education & Talent Development team in additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Background and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in a health-related or business field.
  • A minimum of 2–5 years of experience in program or project management with managing complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
