Amplion Clinical Communications, a Nashville-based healthcare technology company that’s transforming the nurse call market using real-time analytics from patient room activity, has named Lee Clark as chief technology officer. He is responsible for Product Development, Quality Control, and Customer Support.
“Lee brings 25 years of experience as an engineer and global leader in technology, manufacturing, and healthcare,” said Amplion President and CEO Frank Grant. “His vision will be vital to help find new ways to use real-time, point-of-care data to improve the patient experience while bolstering workflows and clinical outcomes.”
Prior to joining Amplion, Mr. Clark held various leadership roles with Dell, Edgenet, Emdeon (now Change Healthcare), and Microsoft. He is also listed as a Rule 31 General Civil Mediator with the Tennessee Supreme Court. “Amplion is a unique combination of extraordinary people who are extremely passionate about an innovative product that has evolved into a complete platform,” expressed Mr. Clark. “It is a privilege to work with this team to revolutionize how care is delivered by providers and, most importantly, to patients.”
Mr. Clark received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He serves on the Board of Trust for Father Ryan High School and the Board of Directors for Guitars 4 Gifts. Previously, he served on the Board for Worksite Rx, an employee clinic provided that was acquired by CareATC.
