Comprehensive Care Center welcomes LHC

Comprehensive Care Center welcomes LHC
by Nashville Health Care Council | Apr 27, 2011

LHC thanks Dr. Stephen Raffanti, chief medical officer (below) of the Comprehensive Care Center (CCC) for welcoming nearly 50 members for a guided tour and lunch briefing on April 19. Dr. Raffanti highlighted the services provided at CCC, a private non-profit outpatient medical facility dedicated to advancing and coordinating care, research and treatment of people living with HIV infection.

The CCC opened in 1994 as the result of a community and health care industry-wide effort to address the growing HIV epidemic in Middle Tennessee and recently moved into a state-of-the-art facility at Vanderbilt Health One Hundred Oaks.

LHC Industry Tours leverage Nashville’s advantage as home to the industry’s leading and largest corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution sites and the programs provide unique, on-the-ground views of varied industry and nonprofit services delivered in Nashville.
