Council Welcomes Two New Staff Members

The Nashville Health Care Council is pleased to announce two new additions to its team.

Kim Clanton will serve as the office administrator for the Council. In this role, she provides administrative support to the president and COO by maintaining calendars, serving as the initial point of contact for the Council’s board members and managing special projects as needed. In addition, Clanton will perform general office management functions on behalf of the Council.

Most recently, Clanton worked as marketing assistant and specifications coordinator for DuPont Performance Materials in Michigan. Previously, she worked for several health care companies in in various executive assistant and office management roles. Clanton earned a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich.

Stephanie Kopel will serve as coordinator of events and sponsorship fulfillment for the Council. In this role, she provides logistical support and administrative assistance on the event team, working directly with the director of events and sponsorships. She is also responsible for planning and execution of Leadership Health Care (LHC) events, as well as other Council events as needed.

Prior to joining the Council, Kopel managed two local event venues—the Ruby and the Clementine—while also coordinating events for the venues’ clients. Before this, she spent four years working in the live music events industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Belmont University.

“We are excited to welcome Kim and Stephanie to the Council team,” said Hayley Hovious, president of the Nashville Health Care Council. “They both bring exceptional skills to their roles and will be important assets to the organization moving forward.”
