Council Wins Top Public Relations Award

NASHVILLE – The Nashville Health Care Council was awarded a prestigious
Parthenon Award for excellence by the Nashville Chapter of the Public Relations Society
of America (PRSA) at its 21st Annual Parthenon Awards ceremony held at the Country
Music Hall of Fame and Museum on April 23.

Specifically, the Health Care Council’s 2005-2006 Annual Report won the Parthenon
Award in the nonprofit annual report category. The Council’s 2005-2006 Annual Report
was designed to highlight the tenth anniversary since the founding of the Council, and
also underscored the continued strong growth of Nashville’s health care industry.

“We are greatly honored by this award for a high-profile report that is intended to support
our mission of raising Nashville’s profile as a health care industry capital,” said Matthew
Gallivan, President of the Health Care Council.

The report was produced by Council Vice President Caroline Young and graphic designer
Christopher Wilkins.
