Important Changes to Your LHC Membership

Important Changes to Your LHC Membership
by Nashville Health Care Council | Oct 22, 2014

LHC Member,

Recently, you should have received an email from Jenni Bradley, director of Talent Development, Nashville Health Care Council, informing you that Leadership Health Care (LHC) is converting to a rolling membership structure, effective immediately. Today, we are excited to tell you more about what that means for your membership.

What is Rolling Membership?

Rolling membership is a membership cycle based on the date a member joins the organization, not on the calendar year.

For example, under the new structure, if you join LHC on November 16, 2014, your membership will not expire until November 16, 2015. LHC members who joined on or after July 1, 2014, were automatically placed into the rolling membership cycle.

LHC members who joined before July 1, 2014, will be considered active until December 31, 2014. You will receive your first renewal notice on November 12, in recognition of the former calendar year structure.

Why a Rolling Membership structure?

We believe this structure will provide increased value for our members. It means that no matter when you sign up for LHC membership, you will be considered a member in good standing for one full year and you will be able to register for any events or activities during that period.

What do I need to do?

Nothing at this time. If you are an active member of LHC, we will prompt you when your membership is up for renewal. You will receive a renewal notice by email from Mark Richard (mrichard@healthcarecouncil.com), manager of accounting for the Council, 60 days before your membership expires. Then, Mark will remind you again 30 days before the expiration date. Mark will detail instructions on how to renew your membership. After renewal, your membership will be active for another full year.

Who do I talk to if I have questions?

Please contact Jenni Bradley, 615-743-3146, with any questions about LHC.

Thank you for your continued support of LHC.
