Specialized Programming
Leadership Health Care (LHC) provides specialized programming to help emerging healthcare leaders develop in their careers. Each quarter, LHC participants hone their leadership skills, advance their industry knowledge and connect with a strong network of peers while engaging in special Council programming, specifically designed to support emerging healthcare executives within our Council member companies.
Cohorts
LHC Cohorts provide members the opportunity to participate in a peer mentoring program facilitated by an experienced healthcare executive. Throughout six cohort sessions, participants discuss substantive topics around a common focus area to enhance their knowledge and leadership skills.
Apply now to be considered for one of our three Spring 2025 LHC Cohorts:
- Managed Care Cohort: Mentor, Caleb Gallifant, VP of Integrated Health at Humana and Council Fellows Alumni, will lead discussions and host guest speakers that take a deep dive across the managed care space, with a focus on how managed care organizations (MCOs) align the financing, delivery, quality, and cost of care to serve member and patient populations.
- Finance Cohort: Mentor, John Davis, COO/CFO of EspriGas, former VP of Council Capital and former LHC Board Member will lead discussions on strategic finance for healthcare businesses, including what makes a business model financially successfully, how KPIs support data-driven decision making across an organization, and evaluating capital (and resource) deployment between potential initiatives.
