Specialized Programming
Leadership Health Care (LHC) provides specialized programming to help emerging healthcare leaders develop in their careers. Each quarter, LHC participants hone their leadership skills, advance their industry knowledge and connect with a strong network of peers while engaging in special Council programming, specifically designed to support emerging healthcare executives within our Council member companies.
Healthcare Foundations
Cohorts
Cohorts provide NextGen Council members the opportunity to participate in a peer mentoring program facilitated by an experienced healthcare executive. Throughout six cohort sessions, participants discuss substantive topics around a common focus area to enhance their knowledge and leadership skills. Cohorts meet in Nashville once a month for the 6-month period. Participants are expected to attend in person for each of the sessions. | Applications for spring cohorts open in late October while applications for fall cohorts open in late April. Applicants for cohorts should be NextGen Leaders within a Council-member company. A NextGen Leader is an individual early in their career or in a middle management role within a healthcare organization, focused on building the skills and tools needed for success.
