Nashville’s health care ecosystem represents a $72.1 billion industry annually and supports more than 370,000 jobs to the local economy annually, according to the results of a new economic impact study by the Nashville Health Care Council, in collaboration with EY.
Globally, Nashville’s healthcare industry generates more than $30.7 billion in earnings and $2.2 billion in taxes, And more than 900+ healthcare service providers (e.g., accounting, architecture, finance, legal) that provide expertise in the healthcare industry and 17 publicly traded healthcare company headquarters in Nashville and work on a multistate, national, or international basis.
