What are some exciting things happening within your organization right now?

Virsys12 has been around for over a decade, and our evolution from a professional services company to software solutions provider has been exciting to be a part of. We just announced some new features in V12 Network and V12 PDE, our flagship solutions aimed at alleviating administrative burdens faced by healthcare organizations. We dive into the details of the latest updates in our recent press release.

Within the past year we’ve also made the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America, and just found out we also made the 2024 Inc. Regionals: Southeast list where was announced, and Virsys12 was one of the 13 companies in the Nashville area that made the list.

An article written by our Founder and CEO, Tammy Hawes, was recently featured by Forbes Technology Council. In the article, Tammy discusses the reasons why up-to-date provider data is key for health plan operations.

What does it mean to you to be a woman-owned and/or woman-led organization?

As a woman business owner and leader, Tammy has prioritized diversity and inclusion at Virsys12 since its inception in 2011. In addition to developing successful software and applications, she has ensured Virsys12 maintains a culture where creativity and innovation flourish among people from all backgrounds and experiences. In an industry where the ratio of men to women is typically 3:1, Virsys12 is proud to be an example of growing diversity in healthcare technology.

How does your work impact the Nashville healthcare community?

Our leading SAAS applications, V12 Network and V12 Provider Data Engine (PDE), deliver tangible benefits that translate into measurable results. Our solutions simplify provider network and lifecycle management and address a variety of use cases, including provider onboarding, credentialing, contracting, network operations, and data management. While we work with companies across the country to help them eliminate inefficiencies in provider data management, we have also worked with many organizations in the greater Nashville area.

Will you share your perspective on the importance of collaboration and partnerships?

At Virsys12, collaboration is one of the four core values that we emphasize in our company culture. We believe that the work we are doing to transform healthcare by eliminating inefficiencies in provider data management would not be possible without constant collaboration not only within our team but also with our valued clients and partners such as ProviderTrust, Conga, Chartis, and CAQH.

What areas are your organization demonstrating social responsibility?

As a Salesforce partner committed to the 1% pledge (a Salesforce® initiative), giving back is a core part of our mission. Virsys12 joins a group of leading organizations committed to encouraging other companies in all stages of growth to make giving back a priority.

Additionally, Tammy serves on the board of the Nashville Health Care Council and is involved with the Nashville Technology Council, the Nashville Entrepreneur’s Organization, and women’s business leadership groups. Our association with these organizations and participation in their community programs reflects our commitment to making a positive impact.
