NASHVILLEMissionPoint Health Partners, a program introduced by Saint Thomas Health, a member of Ascension Health, and a group of the nation’s leading health care companies, began operations on January 1 with more than 1,000 area physicians signed on as providers.

“We’re incredibly excited and proud of the caliber of physicians we have assembled thus far,” says Jason Dinger, CEO of MissionPoint. “Our goal is to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to our patients and having a leading network of the area’s leading health care providers working together is imperative to reaching that goal. We are confident in the group we have now and will continue to grow our network and prepare to provide the best health care possible.”

To date, MissionPoint has active contracts with 310 primary care physicians in the Middle Tennessee area. These network providers include internal medicine, family practice and pediatric physicians.  The network also includes over 700 specialists representing nearly 40 specialties.

“Being involved in such an innovative care delivery model responding to the care delivery needs of our community is really exciting,” says Dr. Tim Mangrum, an Internal Medicine and Pediatric physician. “I am always looking for the best ways to provide care to my patients, and working with MissionPoint’s resources will enable health care providers to give the highest quality, comprehensive care available.”
