DALLAS – Market Center Management Company, the management company of trade centers and trade events around the world, today announced Nurture® by Steelcase, a leading manufacturer of furniture for healthcare environments, has signed a multi-year lease agreement for space in the Nashville Medical Trade Center (NMTC).
Nurture will create a custom showroom on the 6th floor of the NMTC that will anchor the healthcare furnishings neighborhood. The showroom is expected to highlight Nurture’s fresh, new approach toward the total healthcare environment – an approach that goes well beyond furniture. Nurture’s portfolio of research driven, evidence-based products will be applied throughout a variety of healthcare environments, including: caregiver hubs, exam, infusion and patient rooms, family waiting areas, lobby spaces and many more.
“Nurture’s innovative, user-centered solutions will be a cornerstone of the healthcare furniture neighborhood of the trade center,” said Bill Winsor, president and CEO of Market Center Management Company. “Decision makers visiting the trade center year-round will be able to experience a variety of holistic healthcare environments in the new Nurture showroom. We are pleased by their long-term commitment.”
“Nurture brings a holistic viewpoint to healthcare environments and works with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to gain valuable insight into environments that promote healing,” said Kyle Williams, vice president and general manager, Nurture by Steelcase. “We concentrate on space and environments and how products within those environments can help make them more comfortable, more efficient and more conducive to the healing process.”
“This permanent showroom in Nashville will help us reach an even wider audience with our vision to shape and improve the future of healthcare delivery,” added Williams. “We are thrilled to join this dynamic center of commerce and education and applaud the efforts of Market Center Management Company helping us deliver this exciting showcase.”
Opening in 2013, the Nashville Medical Trade Center is a 1.5 million square foot healthcare marketplace that unifies for the first time permanent showrooms, temporary exhibition space, and education and training facilities.
