Brentwood, Tenn. – Onlife Health, a leading health and wellness company headquartered in Tennessee, is challenging employers across the state to take charge of the health of their business by committing to employee health and wellness. Onlife Health announced today the company is accepting submissions for its Onlife Health of Your Business Grant. The grant recipient will receive one year’s worth of comprehensive wellness services to jumpstart their wellness efforts. Submissions may be made electronically at www.OnlifeHealth.com. Closing date for submissions is May 17th.

Companies must fulfill basic submission criteria that require a business size of at least 750 employees with headquarters or a regional office in Tennessee and a demonstrated commitment to improving the health of their business.

The recipient of the Onlife Health of Your Business Grant will receive one year of Onlife’s comprehensive wellness services including:

“Chronic diseases and obesity are pervasive in this state,” said Dexter Shurney, MD, MBA, MPH, Medical Director, Employee Health Plan Vanderbilt University and Medical Center and Onlife Scientific Advisory Board Member. “Scientific research has shown that health engagement and personal coaching can be very effective in improving health outcomes and reducing health care costs. Further, employers who commit to employee health experience a significant improvement in employee morale, retention and productivity. A healthy employee is a happy one.”
