Sarah Maxwell currently serves as the Vice President Brand, Content & Communications for the Nashville Health Care Council. She leads comprehensive storytelling strategies, oversees the creation of compelling content, and implements initiatives to enhance the Council’s, and its programs, brand recognition, economic impact, and growth. Sarah has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and communications and is a member of the Council’s leadership team.
Prior to joining the Nashville Health Care Council, she led marketing strategy and activities for ThriveAP, where she was primarily focused on increasing nationwide brand awareness and market penetration for the ThriveAP suite of solutions for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and their employers. During her tenure, Sarah transformed the brand’s performance and was instrumental in securing key partners to support rapid business growth.
Previously Sarah had a 5-year tenure at OMNIA Partners in which she was responsible for private sector brand marketing strategies and executing key marketing initiatives – including several merger and acquisition activities.
Sarah was honored as Penton’s Choice Award Winner in 2016 for the category of Customer Solutions. As a Cleveland, Ohio native, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a specialization in Journalism from Ohio University. While attending Ohio University she held leadership positions with Chi Omega Fraternity and was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association’s official honor society.
