The award recognizes businessman Thomas Cigarran’s significant role in fostering health care industry innovation and entrepreneurism in Nashville.
Cigarran is a founder of Healthways, a disease-management and wellness company, as well as AmSurg, one of the nation’s pioneering surgery center companies.
This is only the second presentation of the Council’s prestigious Crystal Leaf Award.
