The Council hosted a special discussion with Rear Admiral Donald R. Gintzig, a senior health care executive for Navy Medicine, a global network of 63,000 medical personnel who provide care to more than one million individuals. As part of Nashville Navy Week, this briefing highlighted Navy Medicine’s broad mission including humanitarian assistance and disaster response missions, and the organization’s research and development roles.
