Startup Day Nashville featuring HHS
and
Council Discussion with Ed Simcox, Deputy Chief Technology Officer, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
and Hugh Hale, Chief Information Officer, TennCare, State of Tennessee
moderated by Michael Burcham, CEO, Narus Health

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has embarked on a multi-city “Startup Day” tour, opening the organization’s doors to startups and entrepreneurs in the major technology hubs across the country. The goal is to demystify the vision, priorities and process of working with the federal government. Further, attendees learn simple and actionable ways to engage with HHS.

By bringing this tour to Nashville, HHS recognizes Nashville for its health care innovation. The Council is pleased to host Startup Day in Nashville, which will feature speakers and key decision makers from federal agencies, including Ed Simcox, deputy chief technology officer, HHS.
